T.E.A.E.S. has been in the aviation business for over 30 years. Tim Engle, the President and founder, started working on electrical components as a teenager, when his interest was sparked by his father, an electrical manufacturing engineer, and grandfather, who was an inventor. When Tim entered the military, he began his career in aviation as a mechanic and crew chief on helicopters. Since that time, Tim has been refining his skills and love for all things aircraft.
Vice President of T.E.A.E.S., John Engle, is Tim's son. With an inherited likeness for electrical components and aviation, John began taking apart electronics and putting them back together again at an early age. John always had a desire to see how the inner workings of electrical machinery were put together and how they ran, which made him a perfect fit as the company's Vice President, and Tim's right hand man.
T.E.A.E.S. is conveniently located in the heart of the San Fernando Valley, in Southern California. Home base is Van Nuys Airport (VNY). Averaging nearly 400,000 landings and takeoffs a year, VNY is the world's largest and busiest non-commercial, general aviation airport.
